Time Flies

Hello everyone! Time flies. I can't believe it's already time for another weekly beat year. I got married, got a full time job at a post production company, and I'm still doing my freelance music and sound on the side. As a result, 2023 was my quietest year for making original music since I started over 10 years ago.
I'm still collating my beats from 2022 into an album, but it's still not quite done. I made some great songs that year! I was looking forward to making something awesome to kick off this year, but as I'm sure will be the case most weeks I had to prioritise other things. Thankfully I was paid to make some generic instrumentals this week, and I have adapted one of those that I particularly enjoyed into week 1.
It's a sort of 90s garage/dance inspired track, rolls nicely.
Happy new year to all of you and may it be a great year for our music! I will try and listen to some of your beats more this year, but I apologise if I disappear.
