90s rave vibes str8 from the M8 for week 2.

Produced entirely on the Dirtywave M8 tracker.

I've always really admired/loved the 90s rave sound; from the stabs, the breaks, and the drum machines. This week, I tried to really lean into that sound, and ended up with a bit of a weird mashup of some jungle and acid/hardcore.

Hope y'all enjoy. Let me know what you think! I'm always open to hearing feedback, good or bad.

Blade x Matrix would be a crazy collab.

Wow! That is so sweet! You'll have to send me a link to your show or something, I'd love to listen. Really appreciate the follow and the love.

I really tried to channel that vibe this week - so I hope it was successful! It was also super fun to make, so I'll have to do another dye-related rave at some point.

love those breaks and this def takes me back to that 90s sound. The bass build in the middle is excellent.  Squelchy 303 leads and such a groove. \m/

Absolutely nailed the 90ies aesthetic.

this is a lot of fun, love the shift to hardcore. great job on this one smile

This takes me back to discovering previously unknown (to me) rave acts on random compilation discs with dubious provenance. It was a thrill then; it's a thrill now!

Fire.

great track! perfectly captured the vibe

one small thing: that transition on 1:34 is bit too sudden
