Guitar Practice #6

By zpeisman on April 7, 2024 8:46 pm

Still faking my way through the Weeklies here. The beat is once again dumb drums, with bass and guitar comp from early in the week copy/pasted four times. Made a recording sunday evening where I did two runs of the guitar lead.

Drumbs: Roland D-110
Bass: Fender Mustang
Guitar: Godin Session

great lead fretwork here!

lol at "drumbs"

i hate practicing so WB is perfect for me because it secretly makes me practice by doing

This tune makes me happy. This has a lot of potential. I imagine it would become magical with some chip tune backing arrangement. The drums make me both happy and irritated. Makes me want to dig out my Roland R-5.

Thanks! Turns out I'm not really in the mode for making finished tracks so far, so practicing by doing (something, anything!) is still a good payoff for participating. smile

Thank you! I think I've come to the point where it's time to dig down the D-110 for a while again. smile
