Thank you! I think it's the noise part of the synth lead (plus audio rate modulation of the filter) that gives the impression of shrill cassette distortion.

Crazy good, everything you touch is gold. Now I get why your electronic music articulation is so perfect all the time, the guitar playing is similarly perfect. Also quite partial to the bass sound on this. This is great, have this on loop
