Came up with a couple of ideas throughout the week, and went with this ditty.

Piano: Pianoteq 6 (C. Graf)
Bass: Kawai DX100 home organ (pedals)
1st harmony lead: Mono Lancet (through Marantz PMD cassette echo, 10 mins before deadline after a (too) long Rocket League break)
2nd harmony lead: Accordion (through PMD)
2nd harmony pluck layer: MicroFreak (through PMD)

Very great! I like it when I can't put my finger on something - as in being unable to categorize, not actually enjoying the physical unability to put my finger on something.

..unless it’s a mouse trap or something.

Thank you, I appreciate the un-categorizing!

This is such a delight

great sound on the first harmony lead. accordeon fits super nicely too! piano sounds retrofuturistic like it would play at a bar in a fishing town on another planet where the technology was lost and people reverted to medieval life but with unpowered gadgets they found lying around.
