Bridge to a Looming Castle

By zpeisman on May 29, 2022 11:14 pm

Made this sunday evening recording the Microfreak into Cubasis on the iPad. Malekko Ekko Dark on everything but the bass, plus Moog MF Chorus on the harmony lead. Credits to Sorkfot for pointing the direction of the title, which was strangely appropriate as I have been playing Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls the past couple of days.

This is lovely.

Excellent writing as always -- a lovely 3-part miniature. I agree with v0's spoiler, and find the sound itself relatable -- lately been obsessed w/ trying to amplify those type of "artifacts" to the point where they start being something else (incidentally not done any of that this week, just saying).

This tune is really perfect! It works in all aspects. I can almost hear the pipes, lutes and some monks chanting the bassline?

This is amazing, so ominous and creepy, I love it.
