Blind Control

This week I decided early that I wanted to do some sort of hardware synth jam.
My initial thought was to record something straight off the mixer, but after several attempts to record something with always some mistake happening, I ended up recording just the main body (drums, bass, sequencer line) in one mono take, then overdub leads (and noise/snare roll) afterwards. This allowed me to add some reverb and eq tweaks ITB too, which didn't hurt.
The Dirtywave M8 Tracker was used as a MIDI sequencer and sync source for the main body, while the other parts were played by hand.
Drums: MFB 522 -> mixer (eq) -> Universal Audio 710 (overdrive) -> Moog MF-101 -> Malekko Scrutator -> mixer
Bass: Vermona Mono Lancet -> mixer (overdrive) -> Marantz PMD 221 cassette echo
Sequencer line: DSI Mono Evolver Keyboard -> mixer (eq) -> PMD 221
First lead: Korg MS-20 mini -> Moog Minifooger MF Chorus - > mixer (eq) -> PMD 221
Filtered noise (alongside snare roll): Vermona Mono Lancet -> mixer -> PMD 221
Second lead: DSI Mopho Keyboard -> mixer -> PMD 221
Third lead: Arturia Minibrute 2 -> mixer (eq) -> PMD 221
Portamento lead: Korg MS-20 mini -> Moog Minifooger MF Chorus - > mixer (eq) -> PMD 221
