chromacoast (LT2)

Another live 0-coast experiment. My aim was to do a slow wandering ambient piece, but the arp tempo and dynamics quickly got away from me. Using the slope oscillator to control tempo is powerful but hard to control. One thing I did like was using the contour EOC to trigger the slope LFO (which was already self-cycling). This caused an extra weird interaction between contour and slope, and ended up retriggering the arp sequence at seemingly random intervals.

Really behind on listening and commenting on WB!

Love the movement of this.

ha ha, that was ambient for a full 22 seconds smile

yeah, the retrigger is awesome, there is a little hold like the pattern is saying "ummmm wait"

all the self-cycling of commands/data sounds crazy!  so cool how you are doing all of these with the same device and it never sounds the same twice.  note dip at 2:48 is terrific.  as is the kind of "reverse" sounds at the very end.  great fade out.

only constructive criticism, is that you have a lot of bloops and I would have enjoyed a few bleeps ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Favorite arp of the week!!! This RIPS
