Atro Stellarum

it's a pretty weird track.. with a weird wavform too. I began to try to master the song, but honestly.. I couldn't master it in a way that "sounded" better to me.. so I just went with the pre-mastered track despite it's wavform being weird. I think it just has a hard volume cutoff or something..

I feel like this composition started a lot stronger than it finished unfortunately.. but I did use a lot of minor tricks within the song that are interesting to listen to. But the overall composition feels kinda weak to me, like it would have gotten too repetitive if I kept it going any longer.. and the sound quality feels ok, but I wish it felt a little better to listen to.. like I feel like it can be a little too intense.. but I also feel like trying to fix it, would more likely make it sound worse or lose it's vibe.  Oh well. I can say that I did put in a lot of effort.

Intensity is a good thing! This one is very ear-catching (I listen at work and comment on the stuff that sticks out) and there's a lot of cool sound & movement. The mix is solid, with clearly defined lows and each part sounding distinct. At 1:43 or so when the (piano? sorry - lots of background noise at work today) lead starts and then morphs into the chiptune sound is a great and welcome shift that keeps the track from being repetitive. Great mood here!

I think maybe if the transitions were more crisp and concise it would help but it's pretty good as is already, I really like what happens after about 1:45
