cajon sounds great!  did you just build a box or is there more to it?

pretty much just a box with a bass port in the back and the front is thinner plywood that is screwed on with a bit of a gap along the top edge for more high end snare snap. I spent some time thinning the front out by sanding the inner surface til it gave me a sound I liked. Glad if you like the sound of it!

That quiet low sub kick is perfect. The cajon is absolutely grand -- how did you record it?

Are you going to release meditation / psychedelic therapy sort of ep of long-burner music? This mixture of action & sustain for sort of still-motion is neat.

yes, hoping to generate enough music for a 5 or 6 hour playlist for psilocybin assisted therapy, but still in the production phase, for sure.

The cajon I recorded with just a shure sm-57, minimal post-processing in renoise
