What hides Inside

This weeks song is made with ProTracker for the Commodore Amiga computer - introduced in 1985 with 4 channels of 8-bit samples. My first track made from start to finish in pure ProTracker for a really long time.

It was my submission for the Amiga Music competition at the GERP 2026 Amiga-centered demoparty held in Skövde, Sweden 24-25 January, where over 160 demo freakz gathered to indulge in the art of demo making - coding, graphics, music, hacking & cracking - the love of Amiga and other retro computers. That's alot of Amiga!

All samples were crafted by me, from various sources like the Pro-1, Elektron Monomachine, Roland System 100m, various plugins etc. in Ableton.

During the party, a friend showed me a picture he found of 17-year old me at the LCP 2002 demoparty in Linköping, Sweden, sitting with ProTracker on my friends Amiga 500. Everything has changed, yet it's still the same isn't it?

The song ended up in 2nd place among fierce competition from 16 other entries.

This is so unbelievably cool smile trackers are wild

I love the demo scene stuff so much. It holds such nostalgia.
This bangs.

Amazing vocal addition, very pretty.
- Spider

yooo this is fierce!
killed it

Great vibe and atmosphere in this banger

Digging this groove! And especially love that distorted, hazy chord sound in the middle.

This is random, but do you happen to know what the computer (with the orange keys) beside yours is in that photo?

Bouncy, funky, cool. Wouldn't have guessed it's a 4 channel oldschool mod.

Your electro tracks are always my favorite. Must have played Impure Asscii a million times at this point. This one is no exception.

Yes, it's a Luxor ABC800 - the business variant of the ABC80 big_smile

Man, this is the type of song that got me into chiptunes and tracker music. And those were probably some of your tracks as well, haha. I love it.

Certified banger. Love the communication through the samplename field in the video wink

Looking forward to that smile I'll keep a look out for it. I've been listening to Splendors, since you first uploaded Macho Machine to youtube (before the re-upload). I picked it up the day of and passed the link around too. Resolution has been in regular rotation for a few years now. I'm Always glad to hear more music from you.
