Crude Approximation

This tune went through several iterations, each in a different direction, and I coudln't really make anything work. I decided to not give up and keep trying, and I guess this is just the snapshot in the process where the week deadline happened.

See if you can spot the inspiration from a certain VGM composer who is famous for their 8-bit chiptunes!

This is so good! Such "game in a game" vibes. Like this would be playing in an arcade game inside of Bully or Stardew Valley

Oooohhhh so niiiiice!!!! I really enjoy your chipwork, man. So good. I'm picking up on a couple of influences here. Namely, the person who did the "Duck Tales Moon Theme" as well as Nobuo Uematsu (who wrote the FF7 soundtrack). Super nice, man!!!

LOOOOOOVE this track. The chord progression and arps give me a Final Fantasy feel and I just overall love it all. Great work and great track! The arps are taking me to another planet!
