(Out of) Touch

A track. I'm not really happy with it, I started only two hours before the deadline and in a hurry, and didn't have any real ideas. I wanted to try vocal slicing (like e. g. in Olivier Orand's album H+) but it seems to be a lot of work… I just threw some things together in the end and relied heavily on the random number generator.

I like this a lot - and all the more impressive for only two hours. Great off-balance/ uncomfortable feeling to the music (and ties into your title), but your vocals over the top really tie it all together….definitely wouldn’t be as good without them. Awesome work getting it done!

Very unnerving, the way the vocals are sort of still recognisable as human sounds, but also distorted into something digital and alien. Interesting soundscape!
Even if you're not super stoked about it, you managed to get something out the door, which is the most important part. Keep it up!

I mean, for a two out panic session, this is pretty damn good.  I really love the movement through out... it feels tense and urgent... but I guess that makes sense.  Very hypnotic.
