End of the Line, Osaka

This track is about my first experience navigating the Japan Railroad system. What started as a great day quickly turned hectic when my ticket suddenly became invalid at the gate—five minutes before the train from Tokyo to Osaka was set to depart. After finally getting on the train, the stress didn’t stop. The subway system became the next puzzle, and by the time I reached my destination, I’d walked over seven miles, panicking the entire way.

When I finally arrived, all I could think was, “damn… I’m finally here.”

If you’re traveling in Japan and planning to use the rail system, do yourself a favor and watch a few tutorial videos first.

I like the track, and I feel I'd be very lost if I'd lose myself in Japan...

Fun listen and interesting story!

I hope the next part of the story has you in a cozy restaurant somewhere eating something good. JR is no joke! But also pretty nice once you're actually on a train and watching the countryside go by.

Love the moody vibes in this track. There's kind of an ominous vibe at the start with dark pads and announcer sample. Love the drum groove and the bassline in this.

The good news is that there are trains every five minutes so you can always change the reservation, but that must still ahve been pretty stressful, especially when you don't speak the language.

The good thing is that we got a cool track from this experience! I love this deep rubbery bass, it has a good groove. And then you have the descending synth in the background that creates a sense of dread and mystery. Cool track!

They say that good art comes from suffering! I like the high tension from the high strings! the drums and bass are sick here.

I love the air of suspense here. This could be used for many things, not just travel.
