Uma nota é uma nota.

Found a cool sample of some castanets and through twisting and turning, stumbled upon a cool rhythmic groove which was then used to build the whole song.

As usual, had the m8 playing the song and was messing with some fx on top. At the end, I left a cool loop that I came across on one of the takes.

Enjoy!

Can't go wrong with castanets, and so this song is alright.

Yoooo this is a really cool groove! Love that stutter thing at :07. Great sound design for the bass and melodies. 💯💯💯💯

Very very VERY cool work with the castanhetas, this sounds so damn badass!

Thanks! I like to do these stutters on the m8 with internal sampling then chopping up the sample.

Thanks! They have so many different patterns, you could chop them up in all sorts of ways! I'm actually really happy with the way these came out but (having had more time) would have been interesting to have a proper "solo" in the middle.

Liked the rhythm on the gated synths. And the sound design on the synths in general, nice and tight feel, but also continuously evolving. Groovy track.

hell yeah, that castanet chopping is so great. and i love the turn it takes at the end, a perfect comedown

Head bobbing to this track. Nice work!

Love myself a syncopated bass, and this one is a particularly delicious one, something between Moderat and Plaid. Fantastic motion, a lot of changes over the course of the track while keeping the main groove going, even across the quiet break in the middle. Head bop inducing. The glitchy ending is surprising but very fun!

Amazing feedback! Thanks everyone for listening!
