Spent the last couple of WB grinding on the M8 chopping samples and had to change pace for a bit.
Had this chord progression in my head for some time and decided to have a go at it on the rhodes with a moog solo on top.
I've tried different approaches in the past with different chord voicings but always ended up just jamming and never recorded anything. Decided to change that this time. It doesn't really evolve all that much but I feel like it fits my mood for this past week.

Hope you all enjoy.

Sounds beautiful calming - nice track!

I know exactly how you feel when you just start jamming and not recording. Sometimes it can just feel too good to jam, and you wanna just stay right there in that space with the magic, you don't wanna lose it! Or maybe are afraid it will turn into something else that doesn't feel as right.

These chords are sooooo nice, omg. And those little twinkles, those high notes are such a nice touch. That Moog sounds incredible as well, like a real buttery flow. Def favorited this one. I can't get over how chill and interesting these chords are together. Awesome work.

This is so lush!!!! I love how it feels like you're playing a celestial harp in the first half. Amazing stuff! I definitely want to hear more stuff like this, just jamming in-the-moment stuff.

WHOA. What a treat.

Super nice. I wish I was a good enough drummer to do some jazzy/dnb comping under this, it's a great vibe.

I played that first part running the rhodes through a pitch-shifter (Ableton's grain delay). It works wonders if you extend your chords over several voicings!

Me too! big_smile I did try some drum loops over it, but none that could match the mood. Like that_ranjit said, I felt it was turning into something else that was not meant to be

Wow, such delightful ear candy. Warm moog leads and Rhodes are a few of my favorite sounds and a match made in heaven.
