corporate gigs suck

Hey!

I've had a couple of pretty hectic weeks, which made me miss last week's WB.
This week I've had a song refused by a client which I though turned out OK and immediately though of sharing it here. After getting awful feedback for this track (f*ck corporate gigs), I had to start from scratch and did something else I found to be pretty cliché and boring.

Anyways, I came up with the idea for this song pretty quickly as I sat down at the piano and spent the rest of the day working out some production details to fit the video.
Didn't really mean to put a drum loop on top as I felt that musically, the ideia was strong enough with the piano by itself, but they requested some rhythmic elements.

Hope you guys enjoy!

See you next week!

big atmosphere, big emotions heart

I bet the piano was strong enough, but the drums are real smooth. Time to start your own corporation and use this song yourself.

Super smooth and lovely!!! And sorry to hear about the corporate nonsense, that must be frustrating as hell =/

Thanks! I processed a drum loop and mainly used the wet sound. It gave it a bit more texture and threw it further back in the mix.

Thank you!

It's the worst. No artist vision whatsoever and always goal oriented. I really only do it for the money.
