Canto do olho
'Corner of the eye'

Missed last week's WB because I've been really busy finishing up the short movie I'm working in.
These past weeks, I've been working on the soundtrack and mixing it in dolby atmos. It was a really fun challenge and the results are really interesting.
It is looking and sounding great and I can't wait to share it with everyone.

In the meantime, cause I didn't want to miss two weeks in a row, I was digging through some songs on the m8 and found this one pretty much done but without a set arrangement. Worked out the sections and added some transitions and voilá!

See you next week.

Really excited to hear the soundtrack to the film you're working on! And damn, Atmos mixing sounds daunting AF! Isn't that, like, 9 separate outputs or something like that??? Incredible!

Anyways, this tune here feels super industrial and mechanical, like the inside of a factory! Funny, it seems like a bunch of people on WB took a slightly industrial approach this week, hahahaha... Super cool work!

Unfortunately I still don't have a full atmos setup at the studio but I've been mixing in binaural and get to test the mixes in a different studio with a surround setup to see how everything is translating.
So far, I'm loving it as it feels like a brand new art form which let's me explore old concepts in a new way.
Still need to figure how I will be putting out atmos mixes in bandcamp, so that everyone can enjoy the experience. I'll have to look into it soon.

Anyways, as always, thanks for listening!

Satisfying claps, taps & clicks!

This sounds like a really cool sewing machine.
