oh that is sooooo nice, moments like right at 3:27, where there's this epic surge of passion in playing, and then suddenly that little pluck rings out in stereo for just a split-second and makes my ears tune in to the space so much more attentively, and then wades out into this wash of otherwordly calm and serenity, only to surge again...(another similar moment at 4:04)... and that tremolo combined with a slight detune at the very ending. all about the magic in these choice details!
Agree with Raja; this is wonderful.
It evokes murky memories of practice spaces long ago, where you'd occasionally hear someone noodling alone somewhere (through the walls)―when suddenly everything clicks together for them and they sync 100% into their zone, refocusing into the most refreshing/raw/rad performance you've heard in a long time―full enough to be a complete and excellent track in its own right―without a band, in a practice room alone, experienced by no one else (if the walls had been thicker)――and you'd find yourself hoping that/wondering if it ever goes down like that in front of the audience, alongside the rest of the band. Good stuff!
