"A" is a letter, you can do a lot with not just one A, but many A's, Aeolian A is a nice start, but what if you did it with an accordion accompanied by an acoustic bass and alt saxophone with agogos with some weird amplitude modulation and a bunch of automation. Perhaps even some autotune.

Nice one. Love the interesting mix of sounds. Only minor quibble: The lead that comes in towards the end sits a bit too much in front of everything for my taste.

thanks man, and you should! Basslines are tricky things to get right, took me a while to get half-decent at them that's what weeklybeats is all about, getting in a lot of progress!

Awesome, from quibbles one can learn. I think this has to do with me using LANDR, it smushed my dynamic range so much (together with my highs) that one needs to make absolutely sure that the mix itself is perfect. i probably could've shaven of a couple of DBs on the second lead (the ear piercing one). Maybe some PWM to have that break down the monotony of a single waveform note. Good stuff, thanks for the feedback guys!

I liked the presence of the end lead. though i did feel like there might have been a bit too much going on in that moment. wall of sound! hehehe that's something i'm trying to address in my own tracks. one of my main focuses for the this weekly beats challenge is to give space to let all my elements breathe.
