Kinzoku - Metal

Trying to do metal-like music in a software setting is quite challenging, this was an attempt that morphed into something else.

Very crunchy track, me liky . That screamer is excellent. Nice way to turn the lead addiction into something fresh tongue

Wow, pretty wild textures heart The bass line is great, I love the pitch bends. You did a pretty solid job of getting a metallic texture, especially in the second half. Very creative!

Oh my goodness the atmosphere you built up in this, I've gotta know what that oldskool choir-like pad is heart Such a gritty tune

It's alright, but if you put the guitar in earlier and give it time to scream instead of having it do the lead, it'll be much more powerful.

I can hear the arps being in a metal context but it's the gritty overdriven drums I'm loving.  The arps have a cool range starting synthy and going more metal and then almost 8bit sound.

Going back through past weeks, love the texture on this one!

I liked the guitar!  reminded me of Sleigh Bells!

It's the "filmscore" preset in the M1 plugin by Korg. i really love that M1 sound.

Guitars are never the climax, they are the medium through which everything else flows. It's like saying the water isn't the climax of the fish, it's its home.
