Here's to beginnings! HAJIME!

What started out as a simple sample mashup of some fireworks I recorded at the beginning of the new year turned into a wild chiptune track.

I livestreamed this process:
Stream 1
Stream 2
Stream 3
Stream 4

Any and all comments are welcome! hate it? love it? feel indifferent about it? let me know!

This is some nice chiptune, man! Good job!

I really enjoy the direction this tune takes me in, down and descend into the dark madness such void, great work!

Love it! Dark as f*ck seems right up my alley this morning big_smile

Love the dark vibes; composition is top quality heart well done!

aww shucks! thanks y'all!

Great build-up! This structure works really well for this song :]

This is such a solid comp, great job! heart

The rhythm is nervous in a good way. I imagine a cold-coloured top-down cyberpunk boss batle listening to this one.

nice feel

Such a fun track

I really like that anxious arpeggio.

lol!

I love the use of stereo channels! The ambiguity of the beginning really sets up the song as anxious, keeping you on the edge of your seat. I also love the chromatic chord progression, the half step down as the second note really adds to the dramatic feel. I also also love all the different timbres, and how they contrast with each other in some sections, and blend so nicely in others. The percussion is awesome, it really drives everything forward. It sounds like a boss battle theme almost. Not quite the final boss, but something very close!

Quite dark sound... that drums are killer!
