I started this song saturday evening with the remaining material of last week and did some overdubbings with the pianet N and the Roland SH2000. When I finished  this track, I still had enough time to go outside with paula and having relaxed chilled time in the livingroom at the open fire afterwards , listening to this Wilcox raw-cats record lathe version in real. weekly goal accomplished.

I really like the warbly from-another-time quality of this one!

i'm so enamored w these lathe recordings. i'm curious - do you do any further digital processing or adjusting levels etc once you convert it to a digital file? and does the Wilcox just run from output cables directly into an audio interface?
i enjoyed reading about it on your website, but i apologize if i missed that info. it's such a fascinating process.

I need to regulate the EQ, to avoid damage to your ears and hifi. In natural, it is very hot listening.
And it is absolutely plug and play to record stuff. I do no pre-EQ (RIAS) anymore. I found out this year, that the cutterhead is very sensitiv and can produce more than 500-5000Hz, if I have luck with so many details in the process.

so wild! thanks for the further info
