What a wonderful experiment. The sounds you're getting out of this are really both nostalgic, organic, full of personality, out of control. I wish there was an accompanying video, I am very curious to see how this looks like.

Checked out both versions, this is very interesting. Big fan of early Bibio and love this sound quality. Look forward to hearing more of your stuff!

Really interesting process and I'm always a fan of older recordings that have that nostalgic feel just from the tonal quality alone.  This mix kind of gives me visions of this playing on the Voyager Spacecraft drifting thru space.

Woah! This sounds totally different than the regular mix, poppy and sparkly, I hear more separation between some parts, where other parts sound more compressed and cohesive. It creates a feeling of a foreground and background. This version also seemes to focus my hears and attention in one spot, like I'm looking through a telescope or binoculars, where the other version is more like a wide angle lens. Really cool.
