Bio:
Whelve (Lachlan Aaron Ingham), born in Canberra Australia is a 21 year old House music producer. He began to properly pursue music in 2014 under another title.
As a house music producer, his inspiration to commence this field begun after watching & listening to the music of electronic duo, Daft Punk. In that very same year his primary influence changed to Avicii upon the release of his Album true. In 2014, he worked under a different name and later in 2016 changed it to Whelve. The artist is now focused on a very large variety of styles in house music with a growing number of influences.
Whelve has been very active in 2017 with releases, his first high achieving song uploaded in April, Growing Affection tagged under the genres of Deep, Funky, Soulful & Progressive House came in 2nd place on the May Housecharts.net chart, followed by Future/Progressive House single Calling which received 9th place that same month. In June Whelve released a Progressive House single called Zephyr coming in at 6th on the July Housecharts.net chart. Nearing the end of September he uploaded the first 4 songs of Crystalline (his 1st & now finished album), the Future/Progressive House song Ethereal received 7th place on the Housecharts.net October chart. In October he released one Future/Progressive House song in continuation of Crystalline called Higher & Higher, which came in at 4th for the Housecharts.net November chart. In November 2017 Whelve polished off his album Crystalline with the last 5 songs, 3 of which charted in Housechart's December 2017 top 10. Leading the way in December, Whelve's remake of Ethereal through a collaborative effort with Swiss producer Marcel Vautier came in at 2nd place for the Housecharts.net chart, followed by his Future House song Flux which ranked in at number 4 on the same month. One more of Whelve's songs also made it in the top 10 for December 2017 being Breaking The Surface in 6th. On the 11/12/17 he was announced by Housecharts.net as the One To Watch artist partly due to his amazing consistency on the platform. On the 1st of December, he released the first song in his EP series ‘The Whelforge, Over. Whelve continued his success on Housecharts ranking in at 3rd with Over & 4th with Heartfelt for the January chart. He has now started a campaign requiring him to release song every week of 2018, the first one a remake of his first vocal ‘It’s You (In My Head)’ being released on the 1st of January 2018.
