continuing to get value from the fartlab break
--------
unintentionally, the vibe reminds me of the loop hero soundtrack. goes harder tho

the main bass is a wavsynth """"""hack"""""". take a tri or sine, turn up MULT to 0x10 or 0x20, then modulate WARP with an envelope. it can make fairly "natural" kinds of bass tones. i think i first discovered this """hack""" on OP-1 DSYNTH? like a cheat code to what would otherwise be a fiddlier FM problem.
the drum break is the one from FARTLAB. load it up, FWD LOOP mode, and a RAMP UP lfo on START, like the m8 sampler "timestretch" trick. you can transform a sample with that plus tweaking pitch, loop length, even modulating loop length. the phrases are just some LT#xx commands chopping up the samples. for the reverse phrases, I just copied the instrument, and swapped to play mode REV LOOP and LFO to RAMP DOWN . maybe edited the phrase notes to taste. also modified the filter/eq to make the reverse break stand out even more. also some panning LFO action.
the m8 v2 internal mic is really fun for quick vocal samples.
not saying anything more re: the secret for now

idk why, but i like 24edo. it's like, closely enough related to 12TET that i can immediately start to explore it, but also enough unfamiliar territory that it's engaging. i don't personally care about the accurate ratios that draw people to 31edo or such.
