I thought this was going to be my Tom Foolery submission this week, but then in quickly recording an acoustic guitar song I realised that it suited the theme much better.

THAT SAID

I really like the synths in this one. It was fun to do.

While I was recording it, a man and his young daughter came to pick up an old full-face downhill skateboarding helmet that I had put up for free on the internet. It was an old helmet, so not safe to be used, but it was a gorgeous bright orange and I thought it would be a shame to go to waste. Well, this young girl showed up in her space suit, just missing a helmet. The excitement and joy was palpable - she rang the doorbell twice and knocked on the door. She couldn't wait to take it out of it's bag and put it on. Through the visor she grinned at me and said a very big "THANK YOU" and off she and her dad wandered down the driveway.
The world is beautiful out there.
