factory reset

By w1th1n on January 18, 2026 2:50 pm

Mix isn’t where I want it but I also don’t want to go down a rabbit hole and tweak it for eternity.

Made this on Saturday.

Started on my Roland S-1 for the general concept and to spend time learning how the sequencer worked. Amazing little thing for how portable it is.

Later I synced it with my dfam and a tr6s for the high hats and toppers

Recorded this into the daw then got my hydrasynth involved.

Hope you had a great week!

Great desolate feel. The reverb adds to the abandonment. That shooshing snare and that distressed tone during the break at 1:12 are both brilliant.

Lovely harp, it provides an absolutely amazing contrast.
