This is the first outing of the Fret Paddle™ - A 4 string slide guitar I made out of a plank from Bunnings. I came up with the name of this track last year, and never got around to actually making it. This week I've been listening to a lot of surf rock and started out trying to write a surf rock track, but as is tradition it became something else.

I spent so long re-timing my terrible guitar playing that I forgot to eat dinner.

Oh yeah, I forgot that sounds crazy if you've never seen it:

Basically I ended up with some spare tuners and strings after replacing them on my other guitar and decided that  the "sensible" option was to make a super jank slide guitar. Then I ended up just buying all new components anyway.
