Breakpoint

I could not find a 808 sample I liked, so I learned how to make them in Serum.

I do not think I can go back to 808 samples now.

Experimented with chopping up breaks using slice to midi in Ableton. Way, way WAY easier to get a good rhythm.

One of these days I'll have to get Serum. I'm told lots of good things about it but haven't bought it yet.
That break is clean and punchy as well. The amen comes in nicely at 2mins as well.

Serum is one of those music purchases where there are no regrets. How it visually lays everything out is amazing for beginners and as my skills improve, I understand more and more of what is going on. Will always recommend 10/10.

Very happy with the breaks, used a drum rack instead of sample slicing. Very versatile.
