3/4 of the way there. I'm looking forward to being done with the year so I can go back to spending a little more time on my songs. On one hand, I feel like I've improved significantly this year with my production and composition but the more tired I get, the less I start to care about those same things so it starts to feel like I'm regressing. I think the general idea of trying to do something each week is pretty important though because there have been times where I make something I'm super proud of that wouldn't even exist if I didn't force myself to try to output something that weekend.
If I do this AGAIN in 2024, I think I'm going to maybe do one quarter on, one quarter off or something. Or maybe like 5-6 week blitz? I definitely need more time to recoup and reflect.

This is an apt description of the feeling. Glad you're continuing to muscle through. The chimney synth on this reminded me of a jewelry box or something. Nice one.

If you don't show up in 2024, we'll miss you! The amount of work and thought that you put into your tracks is always inspiring. I like the fact that weekly beats forces us to basically try out a lot of different things as we lose inspiration and start getting dry on ideas.
