Outset

I tried out weekly beats back in 2014 but never followed through on consistently uploading material. I'm wanting to give it another shot and improve upon  my work ethic and hone my song writing/production abilities, so I figure I'd get started last this year and keep it up through 2019.

The goal with this song was to develop a short piece of music that builds from a quiet atmosphere to a loud ending. Any constructive criticism is welcome. I  don't  have a lot of experience with mixing or creating my own drum tracks so feedback in those areas would be very much appreciated.

Nailed the progressive buildup! The melodies convey a good narrative throughout!

You have successfully evoked the ambiance of setting out into strange territory. Any developer working with themes of exploration and survival would be lucky to have you!

It's unfortunate WB doesn't go on in 2019, but I'll keep tabs on ya, this progression is amazing.

Yeah I'm so late to the game, but I'll continue to work on my chops producing music throughout next year in preparation for WB 2020 smile. Thank you for the kind words!

This is a great compliment, haha. Thank you!

Thank you! I have a bad habit of slamming ideas together just to see what happens so I've been trying my best to make songs that sound a bit more consistent. Glad you enjoyed the progression smile
