Neon Nexus

A little retro-futuristic synth tune. I kind of ran out of juice today and this doesn't really have the layers and excitement that I'd like it to have, but it'll do for this week's creative output.

Very nice. I feel like synthwave gets buried in overly melancholy tunes quite a bit, this was a nice change of pace.

Nice synth track! Even if you're not totally happy with the end result, I think the core material here is actually pretty strong and well organized. The track as a whole has a neat arc to it, and the lead melodies you have are wily and intriguing. big_smile

Love the ostinato/arp lines in this as they spin around each other.  Solid drums that drive the track forward.  Gave me some overworld map cinematic video game vibes.   Has a nice floating feel to it with the chord progression as well.

Oh damn, love those drums when they come in with that little hi hat gallup. mmmmmmmm

I dig this track a lot.  Really opens up at the 1:14 mark, when the drums and the low bass comes in.  Great use of pads through to set the tone and highlight the more melodic elements.  Ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one planning two very disparately different albums... I do think it's a nice way to give you self a break from any one style, and you know prevent making 6 of the same track (I'm looking at you A Boy Named Goo).  Hope your work trip goes well, and the mosquitos don't carry you off into the night.

This is absolutely lovely and if Catgazer releases a whole album of this I am IN. I don't think it's lacking at all - the arrangement is gentle and interesting, with a lot of flourish.
Also, while it might be too late to visit Glam Doll Doughnuts, Source Comics & Games should still be open if you have a later flight.

Nice track, and a very intriguing collab offer. I also have quite a bit of travel coming up this Summer, but I'd be interested in collaborating with you. I think we're both on the WB Discord, I'll ping you there!

Ah beautiful arps. These descending lines around 2:45 sound like crystal and are just perfect.

The simple bass is actually my favorite part. Carries the vibe
