okay no more songs for the split, I'm done, just gotta mix and master uhhh 6-7 tracks idk

what's actually cool is that I finally got to try out the "ghost channel" in lsdj. I remember when the original video/forum post went up over 9 years ago and it blew my mind but I've never needed more than 3-6 note polyphony from 1-2 copies of ldsj to get where I needed to be, so I've never had to implement it until now. the part in question is at about 1:35, where the breakdown has 3 note power/7th chords on top of the bass, but there are also individual left and right leads + a lead that is flickering between the stereo field (in the original song, this part was a trumpet). so I was really excited to get it sounding right

i love how you iterate lyrics from a similar stem of idea, like ‘there’s some things i…’, or ‘yesterday, you…’, it forms like a cadence, and keeps me in anticipation of how the next line will take off from there. very cool

It's a great fit for GameBoy.
