A Late Start

I generally struggle with finishing songs. The creation of sounds and combining them together in ways that are pleasing to me has been mostly a therapeutic exercise that's more about the process and less about a finished piece. I've also never really shared music I've created in a public way out of embarrassment, or lack of confidence. These are both things I need to work on, and I'm hoping an attempt to submit a work weekly here will be a step in the right direction. A bit of a late start, but this is my first submission.
This piece was created on a headless Dirtywave M8 Tracker as an exercise to learn how trackers work and explore the M8. I've never created anything on a tracker before but really enjoyed the workflow. It was a lot more intuitive than I was expecting and by the end of the track I was zipping around the M8 very quickly. I was recently looking to pick up a Polyend Tracker or Digitakt for my studio to fill a sampler gap, but after spending a day creating this piece I fell in love with the M8 workflow and immediately pre-ordered the hardware.
I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's submissions this week, and if you're listening, I hope you enjoyed mine.
