wilt

we're absolutely in love with zenology and how easy it makes it to make folktronica on the computer . this time we really locked in on this particularly múm flavored sound with resonated sines, modulated short delays, spring reverb and tiny percussions . we wanna use this for something in the future so i might re-record my vocals at some point but they're fine as they stand for now

transcript:
one thousands years inside a case
grey walls painted over glass, opaque
wilt in the vase and it becomes a grave
so is this it?
is this everything?
just puppet shows and animating corpses, levitating just to leave
so was i really that thick just for believing?
that there's some greater force to make the mourners envy me

bury me
and let the air escape the room
then say it's too soon
pace through your room with my perfume lingering
traces of our whispering assume the worst of you
and the worst of you comes out when you want to bury me
so let the air escape the room and pretend it's too soon

a hundred days without a face
a thousand more just to go waste
misplaced the name, forgot the shape
and wander through the endless maze, nowhere to run

The vocals came out amazing. I'm in awe at anyone who can write lyrics in a week.

fantastic work, tastefully lo-fi and soft heart

Awesome! I'm sure you'll get this a lot, but great vocals!

Vocals are lo-fi goodness, love how the melody floats while that percussion flits about. Great track!
