Brutal Impulse

By Tweaklab on March 6, 2022 11:40 pm

so this one got cut short - I had to collect my kids from school and one ended up testing positive for COVID! 2+ years, we are no longer invincible xD

the full tune will be on my upcoming album "GoldenEra: Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture" releasing March 15th 2022!

"GoldenEra" documentary coming 2022!

*UPDATE* I have worked on this track some more during the week (and now have COVID myself lol) but that hasn't stopped me from shredding. I'll include the full version of the tune in the YouTube video (catching up today if I can!)

oh no!  hope the kiddo is okay and the rest of the family.  heart  praying for you guys

hugs

(can't wait for the doc and soundtrack!)

I got goosebumps. The choir sounded really good and then when the strings hit at 0:57 onwards it turned the epicness of it even further. Good recovery, I hope it will be a very light one!

Thank you everyone! Update - I now have COVID too... my quarantine has been reset to Day zero all over again lol. But that means time to catch up on my videos for my beats/make a good one this week!!!!

It's a very close homage to the Killer Instinct theme, the tune has always had that same effect on me so I'm glad my tribute to it had the same for you! Full album dropping 15/03/2022!

Bless you. I need to update my artist pages with some new photos etc. At least I have another week in isolation to get half as creative as you guys!

Your message meant alot to me, I felt those same emotions creating the track as it transported me back to the 90s... I think you'll like the finished product smile

I was listening to your album yesterday while going on a walk, and I really LOVED how you reused the bond theme and mixed it with other elements. Very cool album!

Ahhh thank you so much! It's one of those things where I still find myself listening to it going "crap, should I have mixed that differently?" but at the end of the day, 2+ hours of music, 40+ tracks squashed into 35... I think I did ok lol. It's interesting you mention the Bond theme, my first initiative on the whole project was "we need our own Spy theme... a motif we can call on throughout the other tracks as if it *were* the James Bond theme, then everything else should be easier" smile it's not the same as the Bond theme but with the right elements it sure sounds like it hey?

Yes it definitely has the similar DNA elements that take the listener into that specific James bone vibe, yet while being different and new. Very cool work.
