Another "how I've been feeling" kind of tune.

We have survived the first full week of Prep, Grade 6 and High School.

We have commuted, worked, played, spent the weekend at the library and chilling at home or seeing my widowed father for breakfast...

The tune is just about life.

The mornings we always assume we will get another tomorrow, and the evenings we wind down, never knowing when it will be the last time. But when we aren't caring about those things, life is good.

Just making more next times until it's the last time.

I really like this! Is that a mandolin? I love the ping-pong delay on that. To me this feels like a combination of optimism with melancholy, wonder, and a twinge of anxiety. As someone with young kids and a similarly busy life (and a relatively recently widowed father, too), this feels familiar. I hope I can also maintain that presence of mind and count my blessings, too.
