Starting off week 1 with some ZX Beeper + 128K jams. If you think it sounds harsh and shrill you're correct - I just wrote it like that

Gotta love that ZedX buzz!

That shriller sound design is right up my alley! This is a super fun piece to start the year off with. big_smile

The ZX's beeper is underrated IMHO. Love to hear it. What did you use to write this?

I'm in favor of the shrill...nice work.

its the fuzz man digital and unapologetic

favorited, you are my new favorite musician on here

love this kind of stuff, gives me some turbo grafx16 sound chip vibes too

I love those gnarly harsh narrow pulse sounds. I dig this.

Yeah, I totally agree! There's really nothing like it in other chips! I'm just glad it came together so easily having started so late lol

FULLY agree; love the 128K's AY chip (which I used for most the percussion) but the beeper just has such character in its tone that I have no choice but to stan. I used Furnace Tracker with the SFX engine to get that Tim Follin sound.

Thank you very much! I might have to bring the shrill back later!

You are too kind! 😊 I haven't done any TurboGrafx-16 music before but I've got the whole year to practice! I must keep consuming chips!!
