Yoshimura 1

By Tristan Louth-Robins on February 13, 2022 10:52 pm

I decided to strip the modular patch all the way back this week, leaving only the routing to the VCA and delay module. Following on from the electric piano improvisation last week, I wanted to foreground a simple progression I'd been playing around with throughout the week - very much in the minimalist style of Hiroshi Yoshimura. The output of the piano is routed to the Make Noise Morphagene, which has some of its parameters controlled by the slow LFO of the Ochd. The Morph recording function is triggered by the attack of the piano (via Mutable Ears.) More to explore using this set up in the coming weeks.

Very lovely piece.

This is a beautiful and compelling setting between piano and your modules. Love it.

Thank you, both! I'm really enjoying blending externals with the modular at the moment. smile
