Hamasaki/Mistress

Fairly simple set-up this week: vinyl samples > memory man > Olympus LS-100 > Logic 9.

This track is laying the foundation for some theatre sound design I'm providing for an Adelaide Fringe Festival production which is based on Alfred Hitchcock's Notorious (1946) and incorporates aspects of the whole Edward Snowden/NSA spying farrago.

Very much inspired by the work of Philip Jeck.

really interesting stuff! cool to hear your work process as well.

Very nice.
I can certainly hear the Philip Jeck inspiration, but that is not a bad thing at all in my opinion!

Ah yes Fringe is here again - I must get out and about! Great work here - love more open ended pieces using vinyl as a source of sound / inspiration.

Good use of minimal sources.  Sets the mood nicely.

Awesome. Nice overview of creation too. I wish I could get to the Ad-Fringe.

Thanks everyone!  Gah, where is the time going this week (past fortnight)?  Must listen to some WB...
