Evaporation Point

By Tristan Louth-Robins on January 16, 2014 12:35 pm

A week of conditioned air and surrounding channels of stifling desert heat.

Revisiting the woozy downtempo-ish stuff from the first week whilst experimenting with some contrasts in texture.  The tech set-up is the same as the previous couple of weeks with the foundation of Microkorg synth and Electroharmonix Memory Man.  This is the most complex mix I've done so far for WB2014 which has done my overheated head few favours.  Looking forward to doing something a little simpler next week. smile

Very nice piece.  I like all the warm fuzzy tones.  Yum.  Almost a BOC type vibe especially with the drifting oscillators on the second half.

Here's to music made in extreme heat-waves! Nice bit-reduction going on, and like the second section with detuned pads and progression to weirdness smile

Nice one dude!

awesome!

This was beautiful to listen to man. Really beautiful.

added to favorites is all I will say

Thanks guys!

Nice track again, love the unexpected turn.

Lovely! Nice airy mixing.

Beautiful track, excellent all the way through, but I particularly enjoyed the last half.

Cheers all!

This is awesome man.

I hadn't heard this one yet. So goood! Love the textures and evolving arrangement. PS. Thank you for the nice comments. Also, I listened to Parlour. Good stuff, indeed.
