Starfield Sonnet

By Trash80 on January 6, 2012 2:39 am

This started off in a totally different direction, and my week turned around on me and was reflected into this piece. More of a experiment now being that it's somewhat trash80, but almost a piano piece. Kinda 80s (very) kinda moody (somewhat). The tags explain the rest.

Wow. Great work here man. Digging it.
Do you have any clue what's going on with Obsolete by the way? The whole thing just kinda dropped off the face of the planet.

Fucking unbelievably awesome!

So good.

Updated soviet-era space electro ftw!

Yes! This was amazing.

You know listening here, I realize I never ever use piano, but its such a big part of the 70s sound.

this is fantastic!

sounds really nice!

I like how you make "weekly beats" and then make a song with no beats in it wink

The title is perfect (but I'm missing some bass and/or beats here):

Ahhhh... I hear that perfect pwm once again! ;-)  Great opening track.  Love the slow down at the end.

beautiful.

love that lead. perfect for a monday morning.

Sinewave likes!

Smoooooth PWM.  To me this sounds like a Trash80 song if it was a moody interlude on an 80s album.  Dig those synth strings.

Yeah you're the pwm mack dad.

WOw, this was amazing!

nice! very.... kinda.... heartwarming depressive XD in a very VERY good way!

love that PWM lead

this song is AWESOME. Really incredible work. I love the piano. I can say that I was really waiting for it to drop the bass and start pumping honestly though.

nice stuff you got here

Great SID Pad! Nice song!

sad scene in an 80s cop film

this is awesome.

I like how well the piano fits in.  I don't know if Shakespeare would consider it a sonnet, but I think it's cool.
