Happy St. Patrick's Day to you too! smile Nice sound selection in this track. I'm digging the deep, buzzy quality of the percussive instruments on display here.

No worries on being social, the best thing about WB, seems to also be one of the most challenging things... there are just sooooo many really interesting and inspiring artist making awesome things, it's hard to keep up with it all.  Speaking of which, I really love the electric organ (??) sounds that come in as pedals, at like 1:30 and 2:40.  It creates a really great wash of sound that sets like a tense and anticipatory tone, and at 3:09 (ish) where a new sense of urgency comes up in the piano part... (´ε` )♡. I see a shimmering urban landscape, where inside on of the many thousands of skyscraper windows, a man in a rumpled suit has a single bead of sweat run down his chin as he is reluctantly about to turn the door knob to...

heart

This vocal like synth is a very interesting effect. It really catches the ear. The piano at 1:58 gave me some goosebumps. Beautiful play against also the sparse drum with nice tight EQ. Beautiful track. The picture of a flower adds another dimension, with its fragile beauty.

There is no need to apologize about not commenting! Take it easy and enjoy.

There's no obligation to be equally social every week. Neither here nor anywhere, really. We've got our rhythms. Life throws stuff at us relentlessly. Some of that reflection is present in your track this week, I feel. It builds gently but there's a certain undertone of unease, if not anxiety. Well done!

To me, the social aspect of Weekly Beats is a very important part of why this place is special. Synth forums tend to gravitate towards pointless discussions about resale value, GAS, and how equipment is always disappointing in terms of features, polish, or price. Weekly Beats is musicians celebrating the act of making music. It's great. I'm also getting way more direct feedback on my stuff here than in any other time-based challenges. (No shade to those, just stating facts!)

So, thank you all for being here and doing your thing, this place is wonderful!

No worries about not being social, sounds like you produced a beautiful introspective track as a result. Very nice!

Some really nice textures in this one and some great ebbs and flows to the music.  I like how it sometimes takes a moment to just stretch out.

A  very tasty mix. Everything in here has enough space and time. Excellent work.

Like those pad sweeps, build up the anticipation nicely before the next change up, great balance of the sparse beats with the piano

This is a great track! Love the metallic feel to the beginning and then having the piano come in and set everything in a totally different mood... really great work.

Really like the arrangement with those airy pianos and other synths-organs. Nice reverbs and delays!

And yeah I am not doing Weekly beats to receive comments, it is just a bonus that fuels the process. And it goes by waves, some weeks I am pretty good at it (listening-commenting), some not as much.

See you next week!

This track has nice space and also momentum, its building, asking questions and evolving. Some nice sounds, the lush pads, the voice like sound. Perfect title for this. Like being on those cliffs of Ireland Emily shared above. I hear you on the commenting, hard to find the time and energy for it. I have to remind myself to just make the music and enjoy or I think about all the extra things too much. Happy st. paddy's day! I saw people in green going to parades, then later saw drunk people being drunk, and I did have a slowly poured Guiness too!

very nice, just floating away while listening!

Hope you had a good time, and good work on the song, these are some exciting pianos.

THIS IS SO TIGHT

you are FEZing me in all the right ways

wow, more of this please!

something about those sounds are so mysterious and unknowable in the best way.  the restraint on the beat is perfect.  i could never do that; i'd go ham(vegetarian) with a big beat drop smile lol
