This week's track got started off by the new Probability pack released on Ableton's website. The new pack has three sequencers that you can choose from. Melodic, Rhythmic and a Step Divider. I barely scratched the surface of this pack but the melodic sequencer got me to use a few chord progressions and inversions that I normally wouldn't from playing the keyboard. The random part of the probability feature wasn't used but it did at least spark my chord progression and help create those strummy parts of the piano. If you have Ableton Suite I definitely recommend checking out this pack for those creative dry spells when your chord progressions feel stale. I also used AudioThing's VinylStrip plugin to give the piano an older slightly worn sound. A tiny bit added to the drums as well. Thanks for listening! Here's a link to Slynk's creative way to use the Probability pack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL9QkBMK734 .
