I love a good melody as much as the next person, but this is good evidence that a track doesn't need to be melodically driven to be a success or enjoyable to listen to.  The beat provides a propulsive energy and there are some wonderful swells here that create a sense of joy and uplift.  It's really quite a mood booster.

ah i'm glad to hear there was a little relief, Buddy. here's hoping that med will help when needed, and that things will get back on track w/ the ol' ticker.

LOVE the feel and sound of this track heart

There is that squishy bass kick drum. Super nicely deployed here. And I agree with Cosmic Cairns. Not everything needs to be melodocally forward. This works very nicely, especially the second half with all the delays and repeats. Nicely done! Wishing the new medicine holds up, too!!!

I love when the arps start to come in about half way through that's super pretty.

Feels like it goes on a real journey from start to finish.

Nice airy ambiance. Sounds like "relief".

Oh hell yes. The bass loop everything is floating around is a great foundation. When this began climbing with the ethereal arps I got giddy.

very different than the a lot of the tracks this year. love this style of track from you as well. the percussion is great as an analog for the heart.  the arp section and with the sustained lead over is really special and I enjoyed every second of the tracks. thank you for gracing us with new music every week

ooh when the arps come in - so uplifting - this is really lovely!
we've been sending you healing vibes all week - i hope this new med is helpful and allows you to get some much needed rest!

Ah i love the progression of this track and how you make it evolve naturally. Some of these beats sounds like hearbeats. And of course beautiful arps, one can never go wrong with arps.

Beautiful track!

Very uplifting and beautiful track. I don't mind the (¿lack of?) complexity (because you say so)... The result feels quite much more finished than "a simple doodle"... anyway, the most important thing is that you're feeling better.

Really nice track !!!

Love this! The chords, the colors, the changeups between sections, it's all fantastic. Tunic-reminiscent in the best of ways. heart

man I hear you on the Afib, I watched my partner suffer through this until she had an ablation surgery (gone for now, fingers crossed). Lovely atmosphere in this one. Sending my best.

Beautiful calming piece. Those delayed arps just wash like waves on a shoreline.

I am going to suggest adding Thomas Barrandon to your listening list (The Quiet Earth is my fave but its all good), you might find a kindred spirit there with this song! Chords are pretty and really clean, its such a nice journey, and live the filtered perc heart

I"m gently swaying, picturing some spring flowers thanks to the imagery above. Agree the bass anchors, the tones are nice, and oh yas the arps, here we go.
Glad you got some relief! This song is lovely and maybe shows it

Was already gently floating along to this then those arps just elevated things up higher into the atmosphere.  Great track to close your eyes and really listen to all the nuance in the pads.  Glad you are getting some relief this week from the new meds.

I "just" love "just" these quiet chords that are a WONDERFUL HEAVENLY SMOOTH HONEYJAM WORK OF SONIC ART.

Love the feel of this. Instant toe tapping out of the gate. Those arps are dreeeeeaaaamy. I love em.
