Nascent

Decided to try and make a somewhat heavier beat than I normally do.  Or at least not a full on ambient pad fest.  So I heard about Google's new Tone Transfer (nice name teehee) experiment where it takes a sound (your voice or uploaded file) and converts it to another instrument (flute, saxophone, violin or trumpet).  It's all A.I. based so it has it's quirks.  But sometimes the quirks workout in a good way.  I first saw this on display via Andrew Huang's recent YT video.  https://youtu.be/f8CdZxWj--A
So he decided to use one of his modular beats and see how it would sound.  It was freaky and actually worked well layered with the beat.  Soooo I decided why not throw one of my boring beats from this current track in there and see what kind of madness I get out of it.  I chose the saxophone and it basically turned the beat into an angry dying elephantophone.  But it sorta worked for what I was going for.  After adding distortion, delay, auto filter and reversing it took on it's own life.  It's not featured prominently really in the track but hey I thought it was worth mentioning a cool lil experimental thing to my WB frainds.  (It's at 1:29 for those playing the home game.)
Oh yeah the rest of the track is the usual angry Piano and some synths from Tyrell and Wavetable.  Thanks for listening/reading.  Cheers!  *beer cracketh open nao*

Nice man, I was looking forward to hearing this after seeing the preview of the elephant in your IG story.  Sounds awesome, its a totally unique sound.  The delay on it gives it such a cool decay too, great way to end the track.  Just found Tone Transfer, I look forward to messing with it this week.

The piano melody at 1:11 is very cool. I get a strong NIN vibe off this track (saying that while wearing my NIN hoodie). Oh the dying elephant sound you got from Tone Transfer is AWESOME. I need to try that out. Very bad ass track, I love it!

Dig it! Nice to hear this big dirty beat from you. The angry pianos are good as always. The elephantophone (lol) came out cool. Glad you reminded about that Tone Transfer, I noticed that Andrew Huang video but haven't watched yet, look forward to trying it out.

Piano is fantastic as always, like the big beat and how it plays with the synths, in particular the chirping synth stab, tone transfer sounds interesting, will have to check it out

Damn, this is the heavy, dark sound I try to get.  Really bangin. Nice kind of gothic feel where it lightens up without the drums and the piano takes center stage. All the dissonant percussive sounds add so much tension. I like how the main melodic theme weaves it's way connecting all the parts.

That dying elephant sound is great. You blend the instruments around each other, and the odd transformed sound, so well that I think any sound that you came across could fit into a track. Heavy track. Heavily enjoyed.
