Groob

Only had an hour to work on this one. Decided to put my effort into the melody. I wanna eventually figure out how to get chord changes working or sounding good. If anyone has tips, holla.

hell yeah. I'm getting Cameo vibes.

I spent 8 years of my life in music schools, and in my opinion while there are rules to chord changes, there's so many of them it's impossible to fit this in a short comment. Better yet, there are many well-known musical hits with exceptions to those rules. So I guess my piece of advice instead would be to imitate. Just like when you're learning to draw, you draw what you see. When you learn to play an instrument, you don't start with your own compositions right away.

Similarly to composition, it helps to figure out chords to stuff you like, and imitate it. The more you do it, the more patterns will emerge, and you can mix and match.

Wow! good job for an hour! Sometimes I like to start by just making up random chords on the piano
