The Ballard Farmer's Market

By Tomatron.Jones on January 7, 2024 11:45 pm

This started off as some noodling on a Novation Circuit Tracks and a Moog Sub-Phatty, which drives the main bass/melody line. Then I started adding a bunch of samples to it and used Andrew Huang's Transit plugin for a adding color and automation. All in all, it was an experiment on using some new tools and playing with some samples. There's more I could do, perhaps clean up the mix, as all the elements start to clash. In total I spent about 4.5 hours on this and I am content with the outcome. It's named 'Ballard Farmer's Market' since I finished and uploaded this track from a coffeeshop that overlooked a farmer's market in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. Enjoy!

This is so atmospheric. I like the birdsamples in it. So relaxing.

Wow! Epic and chill at the same time, really amazing for 4.5 hours work

I am loving the percussive elements!
(And the rest as well)
Great stuff!

This is very good.

Thank you! I enjoyed throwing in a few random sporadic drum samples.
