Piggy-backing after wanting to make some harder stuff for running or working out, I was inspired by some industrial, dark-electronic, 'hard-synth' like Toutant and Noizinksi, which focus on just very hard hitting kicks, bass tone, textures, and automation rather than typical focus on melodic or harmonic ideas. So lots of sample manipulation, risers, hype production tricks, etc. I had fun doing something way outside my usual!
Tools:
* Ableton's Max-For-Live Bass instrument + arpeggiator
* Samples from Splice - kick, snares, risers, crows, pads - all mangled and manipulated
* Ample use of Transit plugin
